Find a bulging or cracked supply hose behind the washing machine before it splits. Each hose gets a fitted date and a replace-by date you choose, so an ageing one is changed on purpose rather than after a flood.
Homeowners, tenants and landlords with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge water line or flexible tap connectors in the house.

Printed under the title: Every flexible water hose behind the washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and taps listed once with its fitted and replace-by dates, then each look behind the appliance and each hose replaced.
Your replacement date, not ours. No replacement interval is printed: hose makers, appliance makers and insurers each give their own. Choose yours, note where it came from, and write a replace-by date against every hose. Look again after a full wash or dishwasher cycle, when a slow drip from a joint is easiest to see.
