How to use it
- Record the room temperature; heat is a genuine danger for this species.
- Log dust baths — too many and too few both cause problems.
- Watch and record eating and teeth.
- Write down the signs your vet asked you to watch for.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.

What temperature should a chinchilla be kept at?
No figure is printed. Chinchillas are adapted to a cool, dry climate and are genuinely at risk in warm rooms, but the safe range and how to manage it in your home is a conversation with a vet who sees them.
