A free printable aquarium water test log — temperature, pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and hardness over time, with the test kit and its expiry recorded.
One page. Choose your paper size — both versions are laid out identically, so neither one gets shrunk to fit.

Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
See water parameters as a trend rather than a single reading, which is the only way to spot a cycle crashing before the stock does.
Freshwater, marine and coldwater fishkeepers, and anyone cycling a new tank.
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
The sheet prints no targets. What is right depends entirely on what you keep — a blackwater tank, a rift lake tank and a reef have completely different chemistry — and copying figures meant for a different setup is how stock is lost. Write your own targets and their source at the top.
Because kits disagree, sometimes substantially, and a change of kit can look like a change in the water. Recording it means a surprising reading can be checked against the equipment as well as the tank.

Keep a record of what went into the tank and when, with the adult size that should have been checked before buying.
Track water quality and temperature for animals that are unusually sensitive to both, with the physical signs recorded alongside.
We are building this library out steadily. Leave an address and we will send the new sheets as they are finished — nothing else, and no more than one email a week.
Sign-up is not live yet — we have not connected an email provider, so this form is switched off rather than quietly collecting addresses.
