What this sheet is for

Keep the daily record for a species where the commonest serious illness comes directly from husbandry figures being wrong.

Who it is for

Bearded dragon keepers, from a first dragon to a collection.

How to use it

  1. Write your target temperatures and supplement routine at the top, with their source.
  2. Weigh weekly and record it.
  3. Check UVB position and age, not just that the lamp is on.
  4. Record supplements given — the schedule is easy to lose track of.

What is on the sheet

The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.

Questions

What temperatures and supplements does a bearded dragon need?

The sheet prints none, deliberately. Metabolic bone disease is common in this species and it comes from exactly these figures being wrong or the UVB being inadequate. Get them from an exotics vet or a species-specific guide and write them in the header.

Should my dragon brumate?

That is a veterinary question that depends on the individual animal's age, weight and health. Record what happens; do not follow a generic schedule.
