The same sheet, on screen. Totals and figures are worked out as you type, rows can be added or removed, and you can print it or download the completed version as a PDF. Everything stays in your browser — your entries are kept in this browser's own storage on this device, nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.

Who this is for

Every set you own, with the numbers that matter. Each line records the set number, theme, piece and figure count, whether it is sealed, built or parted out, and what you paid. The sheet works out cost per piece for each set and totals the collection by theme.

Adult fans and families whose brick sets have spread across shelves, loft boxes and bedrooms, and anyone deciding which sets to keep, rebuild or sell.

What this helps you track

  • Every set by number, name and theme
  • Pieces and figures in each set
  • Whether each set is sealed, built, in progress or parted out
  • Which sets still have their box and instructions
  • Cost per piece, and totals of pieces, cost and value by theme

How to use it

  1. Write your name, where the collection is kept and the date at the top.
  2. Give each set a line with its number, name, theme, piece count and figures, taken from the box or instructions.
  3. Choose the status, tick if the box and instructions are kept, and enter what you paid and your own estimate of its value.
  4. Cost per piece and the totals are worked out in the browser and the workbook; on paper, divide cost by pieces.
  5. Fill the theme table from the set list to see where the pieces and the money are concentrated.
  6. Revisit the status and value columns when you build, part out or sell a set.

Formats

  • Printable PDF (A4 and US Letter)
  • Fillable PDF with form fields
  • Fill in online, saved in your browser
  • Excel / Google Sheets workbook

The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The workbook uses plain formulas only — SUM, IF, COUNTIF and the like — so it opens in Excel, LibreOffice and Google Sheets without anything breaking, and every calculated cell is grey so you can see which figures it worked out.

How to print

Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.

Questions

Why work out cost per piece?

It is a quick way to compare what you paid across sets of very different sizes. It uses only your own cost and the piece count, so it reflects your purchases, not a retail price or any market figure.

What counts as parted out?

A set whose pieces have gone into a general tub or other builds, so it could not be rebuilt as it stands. Use in progress for a set being built or rebuilt, and note any missing pieces in the notes area.

Where should the value estimate come from?

From recent sold listings or offers you have seen, judged against the set's state and whether it has its box. The sheet supplies no values; leave the column blank if you only want to track cost.

How is this different from a model kit tracker?

Model kits are built once and painted; brick sets can be sealed, built, taken apart and rebuilt. This sheet tracks pieces, figures and built state, which a kit stash tracker does not need.
