Theatre and Show Attendance Log
Free theatre log for every play, musical, comedy night and show you see: venue, seat, company, ticket cost and a short review. PDF and browser.

Who this is for
A year of nights out, one line each. Write down every play, musical, comedy night, dance or concert-hall show you see, where you sat, who came with you, what the ticket cost and a line on what you thought of it.
Regular theatregoers who want to look back on a season, people working through a list of shows or venues, and anyone who keeps the programmes but forgets the details.
What this helps you track
- Every show seen, with the date and the venue
- Where you sat, so you remember which seats were worth it
- Who you went with
- What each ticket cost you
- Your own score and a one-line review while it is fresh
How to use it
- Write your name and the year at the top, and where you keep programmes and ticket stubs.
- Fill a row on the night or the morning after: date, show, venue and seat.
- Note who came with you and what your ticket cost, including any booking fee you paid.
- Give the show a score on whatever scale you like and write one line on it.
- Use the browser version to keep the log on your phone; it saves in your own browser.
- At the end of the year read it back to see which venues and seats you would book again.
Formats
- Printable PDF (A4 and US Letter)
- Fillable PDF with form fields
- Fill in online, saved in your browser
The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.
How to print
Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.
Questions
What scale should I use for the rating?
Any you like: out of five, out of ten, or a word such as loved, fine or walked out. The sheet leaves the column open. Pick one and keep to it so the year reads back sensibly.
Does it add up what I spent?
This log is for remembering the shows, so the paper and browser versions have no calculations. Add the ticket column by hand at the end of the year, or use the hobby budget spreadsheet if you want spending worked out.
Can I use it for concerts and gigs as well?
It will work, but there is a separate concert and gig log with columns that suit music better, such as support acts. This one is shaped for theatre, comedy and other seated shows.
How many shows fit on the printed log?
The table runs over two pages with the headings repeated. Print as many copies as you need for a year and number the pages in the corner.
