What this sheet is for
Keep track of the instruments you rely on and when each was last checked, so you know which numbers you can trust.
Who it is for
Workshops, labs, food businesses, farms, workshops with torque wrenches and gauges, and anyone whose measurements matter to somebody else.
How to use it
- List every instrument you actually rely on, including the cheap ones.
- Write what each is used for — that decides how precise it needs to be.
- Record what it was checked against, not just that it was checked.
- Take overdue instruments out of service rather than trusting them.
- Keep certificates separately; this is the index.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.

That comes from the manufacturer, from what you use it for and from any standard you work to. No interval is printed here — write yours in the column provided.
