What this sheet is for
Record weaning properly, because the age and weight it happened at explains a lot of what the group does afterwards.

How to use it
- Write your intended weaning age at the top and why you chose it.
- Record actual age and weight, not the intention.
- Note where they moved to and how long they took to settle.
- Compare groups across a season rather than judging one.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Questions
At what age should I wean?
No age is printed. It differs by species, breed and system, it is a welfare question as well as a productivity one, and in some systems it is regulated. Your vet or breed society is the source.
