See at a glance which rooms are overdue for a deep clean instead of hunting through a stack of job sheets or trusting that somebody remembers.
Head housekeepers, guest house owners and anyone responsible for rooms in a hotel, hostel or serviced apartment block.
One page, top to bottom:
Printed under the title: Every room on one page with the date of its last deep clean and the date of the next, so the rooms that are overdue stand out without anyone having to go through a pile of job sheets.
Your house standard sets the interval. How often a room gets a deep clean, and what a deep clean includes, is your house standard — write the next-due date from that. This page shows when each room was done and what was covered; it does not set the interval.
Write-on lines: Property · Floor or block · Rota period · Kept by
Table, 12 rows: Room · Last done · Done by · Mattress · Soft furn. · Carpet · Furniture · Bathroom · Windows · Next due · Notes
That is your house standard, not ours — it depends on occupancy, the type of guest and the state of the rooms. The sheet has a next-due column for the date you set and nothing telling you what it ought to be.
The tick columns cover the jobs most houses include — mattress, soft furnishings, carpet, behind furniture, bathroom descaling, windows — but your own checklist decides what is done. Cross out a column that does not apply.

Stop a request dying between the desk and the person who does it, and make sure the guest hears that it has been done.
Run the same changeover every time, and catch damage before the next guest arrives and it becomes untraceable.
Track linen out to the laundry and back again, so a missing set is noticed the week it goes missing rather than the season it runs out.
Every sheet, binder, game and puzzle on Upkeep Papers is free to download, with no email and no account. Making them is not free: each one takes days of research, design and checking, and the site costs money to run. If something here saved you time, you can buy us a coffee. It is entirely optional: nothing is locked, and nothing changes if you don’t.
