Greenhouse Growing Log
Turn a greenhouse from a place things happen into a place with a record, so a bad germination or a lost crop can be traced back to the week it went wrong.
Garden and growing · GG-44
A free printable greenhouse cleaning record: clear-out, glazing, staging, pots and tools ticked with the product used, the date and who did it, plus any disease.
One page. Choose your paper size — both versions are laid out identically, so neither one gets shrunk to fit.
Print it and write on it
Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Clean down the same way at every turnaround, so disease has less to carry over. The record shows what was cleaned, with what, and when the next clean is due.
Gardeners, allotment holders, small nurseries and community growing projects with a greenhouse, polytunnel or cold frame.
One page, top to bottom:
Printed under the title: The clean-down between crops or at the end of the season: everything out, every surface and every piece of kit washed and treated, with the product used and who did it, so disease has less to carry over.
The label decides, not this sheet. Use products sold for the job and follow the label for dilution, contact time, rinsing, ventilation and protective kit; no product or rate is printed here. Wash off dirt before treating a surface, and keep plants out until the label allows.
Write-on lines: Greenhouse, tunnel or frame · Date · Reason: between crops, season end or disease found · Done by

This sheet does not recommend one. Use a product sold for the job, follow its label for dilution, contact time, rinsing and ventilation, and check the rules where you are for using it. The product column is there so you know what went on which surface.
No interval is printed. The sheet is built around the usual three reasons: between crops, at the end of the season and after a disease problem. How often yours needs it depends on what you grow and what you found, so the next date is yours to set.
Turn a greenhouse from a place things happen into a place with a record, so a bad germination or a lost crop can be traced back to the week it went wrong.
Keep track of what is under cover at any moment and how it has been treated, so a crop that sulks can be read against the conditions it actually had.
Build a picture of what turns up on your plot and when, and see whether what you tried last time actually made any difference.
Record what struck and what did not, so your own conditions become the reference instead of a general table.
Every sheet, binder, game and puzzle on Upkeep Papers is free to download, with no email and no account. Making them is not free: each one takes days of research, design and checking, and the site costs money to run. If something here saved you time, you can buy us a coffee. It is entirely optional: nothing is locked, and nothing changes if you don’t.
