The same sheet, on screen. Totals and figures are worked out as you type, rows can be added or removed, and you can print it or download the completed version as a PDF. Everything stays in your browser — your entries are kept in this browser's own storage on this device, nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.

Who this is for

Every viewing of your home, in order. Each row records when it was, who came and who showed them round, the feedback the agent passed back and how interested they seemed. Over a few weeks the pattern in the feedback starts to show.

Sellers whose home is on the market, whether the agent carries out viewings or the seller shows people round, who want their own record rather than relying on calls.

What this helps you track

  • The property, the agent and the date it went on the market
  • Each viewing with the date, time and who came
  • Who accompanied the viewers, and which were second viewings
  • The feedback received and the interest level it suggested
  • A running count of viewings and which led to an offer

How to use it

  1. Write the property, your agent and the listing date at the top.
  2. Add a row as each viewing is booked, with the date and time and the viewer's name or reference.
  3. Record who showed them round and tick second viewing when someone comes back.
  4. Ask the agent for feedback after every viewing and write it down in their words, then choose an interest level.
  5. Number each viewing in the first column to keep a running count, and tick offer when one follows.
  6. Read back through the feedback column every week or two to spot comments that keep coming up.

Formats

  • Printable PDF (A4 and US Letter)
  • Fillable PDF with form fields
  • Fill in online, saved in your browser

The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.

How to print

Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.

Questions

Why keep my own log when the agent has one?

It gives you the full picture in one place, in your own words, and makes it easier to have a clear conversation with the agent about how the sale is going and whether anything should change.

What if the agent does not pass on feedback?

Ask for it after every viewing and note in the log when none was given. A column of gaps is itself useful when you review the agent's service.

How should I judge interest level?

Use your own reading of the feedback: keen, some, none or unknown. It is a quick summary for scanning the log, not a prediction of an offer.

Should I record viewers' personal details?

Keep it to a first name or the agent's reference, and keep the log private. The agent holds the contact details.
