Who this is for

Every gig you have been to, in one place. Each line records the date, the headline act and support, the venue and town, what the ticket cost, who you went with, the songs that stood out and your own rating. Kept up, it becomes a lifetime list.

Music fans who go to gigs, concerts and festivals and want a record that lasts longer than a ticket app or a phone full of blurry photos.

What this helps you track

  • Every show attended, dated
  • The headliner and the support acts
  • Venue and town, so you can count the places you have been
  • What each ticket cost and who you went with
  • The songs that stood out and your own rating

How to use it

  1. Write your name, the year and the page number at the top.
  2. Add a line after each gig with the date, the headline act and any support acts you saw.
  3. Record the venue and town or city, the ticket cost and who went with you.
  4. Note the setlist highlights while they are fresh, and give the night your own rating out of 5.
  5. Keep the gigs and venues tallies in the header up to date, and use the notes area for stubs, wristbands or festival line-ups.

Formats

  • Printable PDF (A4 and US Letter)
  • Fillable PDF with form fields
  • Fill in online, saved in your browser

The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.

How to print

Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.

Questions

How do I log a festival?

Use one line per day or per act you want to remember. Put the festival name in the venue column and the acts you saw in headline and support, so each set you care about gets its own entry.

What counts as a new venue?

Any venue you had not been to before this year, or before ever if you are building a lifetime list. Say which in the notes so the tally means the same thing on every page.

Should the ticket cost include fees?

It is up to you, but be consistent. Many people write the total paid including booking fees, since that is what the night actually cost.

Can I stick tickets on the sheet?

The notes area at the foot of the page is left blank for stubs, wristbands or a scribbled setlist. Print on heavier paper if you plan to glue things in.
