The same sheet, on screen. Totals and figures are worked out as you type, rows can be added or removed, and you can print it or download the completed version as a PDF. Everything stays in your browser — your entries are kept in this browser's own storage on this device, nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.

Who this is for

What you planned to stream and what happened. Write each planned stream in ahead with its intended start, then complete the same row afterwards with the actual start and end, peak and average viewers, new followers and anything worth remembering from chat. The month's hours and followers add themselves up.

Streamers on any platform, from someone streaming twice a week to a hobby channel that wants to see which nights and which games bring people in.

What this helps you track

  • The streams you planned for the month, with start times
  • When each stream actually started and ended, and how long it ran
  • Peak and average viewers and new followers per session
  • Chat highlights, technical problems and ideas for next time
  • Total hours streamed and followers gained over the month

How to use it

  1. Write the channel, platform and month at the top, then write in the streams you plan: date, title or game and planned start.
  2. After each stream, complete its row with the actual start and end time, and the viewer and follower figures from your platform's dashboard.
  3. Write times as decimals of the hour, so 19.5 for half past seven; a stream that runs past midnight ends at 24 plus the hours after.
  4. Stream length, totals and the summary are worked out in the browser and the Excel workbook; on paper subtract start from end.
  5. Note chat highlights and any problems — dropped frames, audio, raids — while they are fresh.
  6. At the month end, compare planned and actual starts to see which slots you kept and which drew viewers.

Formats

  • Printable PDF (A4 and US Letter)
  • Fillable PDF with form fields
  • Fill in online, saved in your browser
  • Excel / Google Sheets workbook

The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The workbook uses plain formulas only — SUM, IF, COUNTIF and the like — so it opens in Excel, LibreOffice and Google Sheets without anything breaking, and every calculated cell is grey so you can see which figures it worked out.

How to print

Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.

Questions

Why write times as decimals?

So the sheet can subtract them. 20.25 is quarter past eight and 21.75 is quarter to ten, giving 1.5 hours. It takes a moment to get used to but saves converting minutes by hand.

Where do the viewer figures come from?

From your own platform's stream summary or analytics page. Different platforms measure peak and average viewers differently, so copy them the same way each time and compare within one platform.

Can I log streams on more than one platform?

Yes. Keep a sheet per platform, or use one sheet and put the platform in the title column. Adding viewer figures across platforms is best avoided as they are not measured the same way.

What if my streams are irregular?

Write in whatever you intend at the start of the month, even if it is only two dates, and add unplanned streams as they happen with the Plan column left blank. The gaps show how closely the month followed the plan.
