Free laundry and linen schedule — the week's washing by day, with who, washed, dried and put away ticked, plus a linen round. PDF and browser versions.

A week of washing, written down before it piles up. Each day has a line for what goes in, who is doing it and a tick for washed, dried and put away, with a separate round for the beds, towels and spare bedding.
Households where the washing is done by whoever notices it, families with more loads than days, and shared houses that need to know whose turn the machine is.
The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.
Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.
The sheet does not say. Households, seasons and skin all differ, and so do the standards people keep. The linen round is a list of what to change, not a statement of when; write your own rhythm in the notes.
That is what the who column is for. Put the sheet where the machine is and let whoever runs a load write their name against it, so the next person knows what is already in there.
Leave the days you do not use blank and write the loads on the days you do. The sheet is a week to fill in, not a timetable you have to keep.
Write whatever the care label says in the note column, in your own words. No temperature, cycle or dose appears anywhere on the sheet — those belong to the label and the machine, not to us.
Which jobs the house has agreed exist, written down once.
Which room is cleaned on which day, agreed once and written down.
Which chores fall on which day, so the week is not front-loaded.
Printable sheets, workbooks and tools on the same subject.
Track linen out to the laundry and back again, so a missing set is noticed the week it goes missing rather than the season it runs out.
Split the jobs between everyone in the house before the month starts, so the question of whose turn it is has already been answered in writing.
Every sheet, binder, game and puzzle on Upkeep Papers is free to download, with no email and no account. Making them is not free: each one takes days of research, design and checking, and the site costs money to run. If something here saved you time, you can buy us a coffee. It is entirely optional: nothing is locked, and nothing changes if you don’t.
