Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Stop the dates that matter arriving unannounced, by writing them down in one place with the interval you have decided on.
Landlords and agents managing tenancies and the checks that go with them.
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
No, and it is not legal advice. It is a record sheet. What a tenancy legally requires — notice periods, how a deposit must be held, which certificates must be in place and how long records must be kept — depends entirely on where the property is, and it changes. Nothing of that kind is printed here. Establish what applies to you locally and keep this alongside it.
Because getting one wrong from a printed template is worse than having no template. Required intervals for safety checks and notice differ by country and often by region, and they change. Yours go in the column provided.
Keep the front page of a property file, so somebody taking it over tomorrow would know what they had.
Record the date something was reported as well as the date it was fixed, which is the pair of dates that actually matters.
Establish what the property was like on day one, in a document both sides signed, so the end of the tenancy is not an argument from memory.
We are building this library out steadily. Leave an address and we will send the new sheets as they are finished — nothing else, and no more than one email a week.
Sign-up is not live yet — we have not connected an email provider, so this form is switched off rather than quietly collecting addresses.
