How to use it
- Print as many as you need.
- The dots are deliberately faint. They guide without dominating.
- Print double-sided; the dots do not show through.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Questions
Why dots rather than lines?
Because once you have written or drawn on the page, lines compete with the content and dots disappear. It is the same guidance with less noise, which is why journals use it.
What spacing is it?
5 mm, matching the squared paper, so the two can be used together in the same notebook.
