Flatmate shopping rota template: who does the shared shop each week, who has which laundry slot, and a communal shopping list. PDF and browser.
One page. The A4 and US Letter files are laid out identically, so neither is shrunk to fit.

Shared shop and washing machine, taken in turns. The rota says whose week it is to buy communal items and who has the machine on which day, and the shared list keeps track of what is needed, who bought it and what it cost.
Housemates and flatmates sharing a kitchen and a washing machine who are tired of running out of toilet roll or finding the machine full.
The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.
Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.
The list records who paid for each item. Add up what each person has paid over the period and settle the differences; a separate settle-up sheet or bills calculator does the arithmetic if the flat wants it worked out.
Swap turns and write the change on the rota rather than letting it slide. A visible record of swaps is usually enough to keep the rota fair without anyone having to chase.
No. Agree that between you, based on how many people share the machine and when each person is in. The rota only records the arrangement so everyone can see it.
Usually not. Keep the list to things the whole flat uses, such as cleaning products, toilet roll and bin bags, so the cost is shared fairly.
Every shared purchase, who paid and how many it was split between.
Which shelf, drawer and cupboard belongs to whom.
What was agreed about guests and overnight stays.
Every bill due this month, who supplies it and when it is due.
Printable sheets, workbooks and tools on the same subject.
Split the jobs between everyone in the house before the month starts, so the question of whose turn it is has already been answered in writing.
Track linen out to the laundry and back again, so a missing set is noticed the week it goes missing rather than the season it runs out.

Making them is not free: each one takes days of research, design and checking, and the site costs money to run. If something here saved you time, you can buy us a coffee.
