A dated record of the practices a household actually ran. Each line says what was practised, who was in the house, which way they went, how long it took by your own clock and what did not work. The sheet sets no timetable and no target time — it records what happened.
Families with children or older relatives at home, shared houses agreeing a way out between them, childminders and carers who practise with the people they look after, and anyone whose insurer or scheme asks what they have done.
The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.
Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.
The sheet does not say. How often a household practises anything is for the household, and anyone with a duty to run drills will have that set out for them elsewhere. This page records the ones you did.
Whatever you practised: getting out, meeting up, turning something off, ringing somebody, getting a wheelchair or a pushchair down a hallway. Write it in your own words in the what column.
Because practices go wrong in useful ways. A door that was locked, a hallway full of bikes or a child who went the wrong way is the whole value of having done it, and it is only fixed if it is written down.
No. It is there because people find their own numbers interesting over a few practices. Nothing on the sheet compares it with anything.
Yes. Put the setting in the address field and the people present in the who column. Whatever your own scheme or registration asks you to record goes in the notes.

Every household or member, with the numbers that actually get answered.
What is already in the house, and what still has to be bought or found.
Printable sheets, workbooks and tools on the same subject.
Record a drill in a way that captures what went badly, which is the only part that makes the next one better.
Make sure anyone in the household can turn off the water, gas or electricity quickly, including people who did not move in with the property.

Making them is not free: each one takes days of research, design and checking, and the site costs money to run. If something here saved you time, you can buy us a coffee. It is entirely optional: nothing is locked, and nothing changes if you don’t.
