What this sheet is for
Plan a driving trip by day, with the two things that decide how it feels: how long you are actually driving, and where you are sleeping.
Who it is for
Families on a driving holiday, campervan and caravan trips, motorcycle tours and anyone crossing a country by road.
How to use it
- Estimate driving time honestly, then add time for stops and traffic.
- Book the nights you cannot risk, and leave the rest loose if you like.
- Note stops worth making — the trip is not only the destination.
- Fill in the before-you-go line properly: service, tyres, documents, cover.
- Keep the sheet in the car, not on a phone in a bag in the boot.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
