Scaffold Inspection Record
Keep a dated inspection history for one scaffold, with findings and the action taken recorded beside each inspection.
Site and construction · SI-08
A free printable temporary works register — each item designed, checked, permitted to load and permitted to remove, with dates and signatures.
One page. Choose your paper size — both versions are laid out identically, so neither one gets shrunk to fit.
Print it and write on it
Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Give every piece of propping, shoring, falsework or edge protection an owner and four dated signatures, so nothing is loaded or struck on an assumption.
Site managers, temporary works coordinators, small builders and anyone propping, shoring or supporting something during construction.
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Keep a dated inspection history for one scaffold, with findings and the action taken recorded beside each inspection.
Record a day on site while it is happening, because delay, weather and verbal instructions all become arguments later and are trivial to note now.
Set out how a job will actually be done in sequence, with the controls written against the step they belong to rather than in a block nobody reads.
We are building this library out steadily. Leave an address and we will send the new sheets as they are finished — nothing else, and no more than one email a week.
Sign-up is not live yet — we have not connected an email provider, so this form is switched off rather than quietly collecting addresses.
