Landlord Property Record
Keep the front page of a property file, so somebody taking it over tomorrow would know what they had.
Rental property · RP-16
A free printable expense log for one rental property — date, supplier, what for, category, amount and whether the receipt is held.
One page. Choose your paper size — both versions are laid out identically, so neither one gets shrunk to fit.
Print it and write on it
Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Arrive at the year end with a total and a filed set of receipts instead of a shoebox and an afternoon.
Landlords preparing their own figures, and anyone handing a property's costs to an accountant.
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Not a question this sheet answers. What is allowable differs by country and by circumstance and changes over time. The categories here are descriptive only — they are not tax codes and they do not imply anything is deductible. Ask your accountant or tax authority.

Record the date something was reported as well as the date it was fixed, which is the pair of dates that actually matters.
Settle an arrears question with a document rather than a memory, and hand an accountant something that already adds up.
We are building this library out steadily. Leave an address and we will send the new sheets as they are finished — nothing else, and no more than one email a week.
Sign-up is not live yet — we have not connected an email provider, so this form is switched off rather than quietly collecting addresses.
