Chess Game Score Sheet

What this sheet is for

Record a game move by move in a layout with room to write legibly under time pressure, then hand it in at the end of the round.

Who it is for

Club players, junior and adult tournaments, arbiters and coaches reviewing games.

How to use it

1. Fill in the header before the clocks start.
2. Record your move and your opponent's as you go.
3. Use the clock column at the points your event requires it.
4. Both players sign the result before either leaves the board.
5. Keep your copy — the games you lost are the ones worth going over.

What is on the sheet

The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.

Questions

Is this a federation scoresheet?

No. It is a plain scoresheet. Rated events have their own rules about notation, clock recording and what happens in time trouble, and some supply their own forms. The organiser's rules are the ones that count.
