The whole year on one page. Twelve rows, one per month, with a column each for birthdays and occasions, school and work dates, holidays and travel, and the home and money dates — renewals, tax, the boiler service — that otherwise arrive as a surprise.
Families who need to see the year before they book anything — school terms against work trips against the one week everyone is free — and anyone who starts each January by copying dates out of last year's diary.
The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.
Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.
A grid of days on one page leaves no room to write. A row per month holds a handful of dates in each column, which is what most families need to plan a year; the weekly schedule handles the detail.
The months are printed January to December, but the browser version lets you retype them — September to August for a school year, April to March for a tax year. On paper, cross out and write your own.
Anything with a date and a cost or a consequence: insurance and policy renewals, tax deadlines, vehicle tests, the boiler service, membership renewals, the tenancy end. The renewal calendar holds the detail; this column is the reminder.
On paper, yes — that is what the wide columns are for. The browser version is plain text, so put an initial before each entry instead.
