Monthly Planner
Free printable monthly planner — three goals for the month, a week-by-week plan and a table of the dates that matter, all on one page. PDF and browser versions.
One page. The A4 and US Letter files are laid out identically, so neither is shrunk to fit.

Who this is for
A month planned by the week rather than the day. Three goals at the top, a row for each week with its dates and main things, and a table of the dates that matter with what has to be done before each.
Anyone who plans further ahead than a week — people with deadlines, renewals, school terms or a project to move along — and anyone who wants the month on one page.
What this helps you track
- The few things the month is for, written before the month starts
- What each week is carrying, so the busy weeks are visible early
- Birthdays, deadlines, renewals and appointments with a date
- What has to be ready before each of those dates, ticked off when it is
How to use it
- Write the month and year at the top and the three goals for the month.
- Fill in the dates each week covers, then the main things and appointments for that week.
- List the dates that matter — deadlines, birthdays, renewals, bookings — with what has to happen before each; in the browser you can add rows.
- Look at the sheet once a week and tick the dates as they are dealt with.
- At the end of the month copy anything unfinished, and any goal not yet reached, to the next sheet.

The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.
How to print
Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.
Questions
Why is it not a calendar grid?
A grid of 31 boxes on one sheet leaves each box too small to write in. Planning by the week gives every week a real line and keeps the dated items in their own table where they can be read in order.
What goes in 'dates that matter'?
Anything with a fixed date and a consequence: a deadline, a renewal, a booking, a birthday, an exam, a delivery. The prepare column is for what has to happen before it.
Can I use it for a five-week month?
Yes. There are five week rows, and a month that runs into a sixth partial week can share the last row or carry over to the next sheet.
How does it fit with the weekly planner?
Set the month here, then take one week at a time onto the weekly planner. The monthly sheet is for direction and dates; the weekly one is for the work.
