Who this is for
The week for the whole house on one sheet. The days run down the side, each person has their own column and the last column holds the meals and the things that belong to nobody in particular. Stuck to the fridge, it answers who is where on Thursday without anyone asking.
Families with several people's clubs, shifts and appointments to keep straight, shared houses, and grandparents or sitters who have been handed the week.
What this helps you track
- Where each person is on each day, in their own column
- Clubs, shifts, appointments and lifts, against the day they fall
- What is for dinner, and anything the whole house needs to know
- Which days are crowded and which are free, visible at a glance
How to use it
- Write the date the week begins and the name of each person at the top; the columns are labelled Person 1 to 4 and take whatever names you give them.
- Fill in the fixed things first — work, school, clubs, appointments — each in the column of the person it belongs to.
- Add lifts and handovers in both columns, so the person driving and the person being driven both see it.
- Use the meals and notes column for dinner, visitors, bins, and anything that belongs to the house rather than a person.
- Put it where everyone passes it, and start a fresh sheet on the same day each week.
Formats
- Printable PDF (A4 and US Letter)
- Fillable PDF with form fields

The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.
How to print
Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.
Questions
What if there are more than four people?
Print two sheets and split the household between them, or use the meals and notes column for a fifth person with little on. The four columns are what fits legibly on one page.
Can I use it for just one person?
You can, but the weekly planner is built for that, with focus, appointments and to-do columns for one person. This sheet earns its place when there are several columns to compare.
Does it print with the names filled in?
Fill the browser version in once with the names and the things that repeat every week, download it as a PDF, and print that each week rather than starting blank.
Is there room for times?
Write them in the box with the entry — '16:00 swimming' — rather than in a separate column. The rows are tall enough for two or three lines each.
