Free vegetable planting planner — crop, variety, sowing method, sow and transplant dates, expected harvest, bed and quantity on one page. PDF and browser.

One row per crop for the growing season. Record the variety, how and when it was sown, when it went out, where it is planted and when you expect to pick it — the sheet that tells you what is in each bed and what is coming next.
Vegetable gardeners and allotment holders planning a season, and anyone who has stood in front of a bed unable to remember which variety went in it.
The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.
Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.
No. Sowing times depend on your climate, your last frost and the variety, so the sheet leaves those dates for you to write in from the packet or your own notes.
Give each sowing its own row — the same crop and variety with a later date. Successional sowings are exactly what the planner is for, and the harvest column shows whether they are spaced as you meant.
This sheet lists crops and where they went; it is not a plan of the ground. The allotment plot plan sheet on this site is a grid for drawing the beds, and the two work well side by side.
Yes. The columns are the same for anything raised from seed or bought as plants: what, which, when sown, when planted out, where and how many.
What seed you actually have, by crop and variety, before you order more.
Total weight and count harvested over the season, added up for you.
The jobs you have decided to do each month, in your own words.
Printable sheets, workbooks and tools on the same subject.
Plan the season with last year's beds in front of you, which is the only way rotation decisions get made from fact rather than memory.
Get the plot down on paper to a consistent scale, so bed lengths, seed quantities and next year's rotation can be worked out in the warm.
Capture what you planned, what you actually did and what happened, which is the comparison that makes next season better and the one nobody writes down.
