Download Free · no sign-up

One page. The A4 and US Letter files are laid out identically, so neither is shrunk to fit.

Fillable PDF type and save

Spreadsheet formulas included

The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.

Fill it in online

The same sheet, on screen. Totals and figures are worked out as you type, rows can be added or removed, and you can print it or download the completed version as a PDF. Everything stays in your browser — your entries are kept in this browser's own storage on this device, nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.

Who this is for

The season on one page. List the events you have entered or are thinking about, and the calendar counts the days to each, totals what you have paid in entry fees and keeps your finish time and position once they are done.

Anyone who enters a few running, cycling, swimming or multi-sport events a year and wants the dates, fees and results in one place.

What this helps you track

  • Every event you are considering, entered or have finished, in date order
  • How many days are left until each one
  • What you have paid in entry fees across the season
  • Your finish time and position for each event completed
  • How many events you entered and how many you finished

How to use it

  1. Write your name, the season and the distance unit you use.
  2. List each event with its date, place and distance as soon as it catches your eye.
  3. Tick entered when you pay, and write the entry fee; leave both blank while you are only considering it.
  4. Days to go is worked out in the browser and the workbook from today's date; on paper, count on from the calendar.
  5. After each event, tick done and write your finish time and position.
  6. Read the fees paid and the counts of entered and finished events in the summary.

Formats

  • Printable PDF (A4 and US Letter)
  • Fillable PDF with form fields
  • Fill in online, saved in your browser
  • Excel / Google Sheets workbook

The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The workbook uses plain formulas only — SUM, IF, COUNTIF and the like — so it opens in Excel, LibreOffice and Google Sheets without anything breaking, and every calculated cell is grey so you can see which figures it worked out.

How to print

Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.

Questions

Why is days to go negative?

Once an event's date has passed, the count runs below zero. That is a quick sign to tick it as done and fill in the result, or to note that you did not start.

Can I mix running, cycling and swimming events?

Yes. Write the sport in the event name, for example Parkland 10k run or Lakeside sprint triathlon, and use one distance unit for the whole sheet so the column reads consistently.

Where do I record a withdrawal or refund?

Leave done unticked and use the notes area to record the withdrawal and any refund. If you got money back, reduce the fee on that row so the season total matches what you actually paid.

Is there a place for kit and travel costs?

This sheet totals entry fees only. Keep travel and kit in the notes area, or use a budget sheet alongside it if you want every cost of a race added up.
