The same sheet, on screen. Totals and figures are worked out as you type, rows can be added or removed, and you can print it or download the completed version as a PDF. Everything stays in your browser — your entries are kept in this browser's own storage on this device, nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.

Who this is for

Every recurring fee on the boat or van, with its due date. Mooring, storage compound, licence, harbour dues and club membership each get a line with who is paid, what period it covers, when it falls due and whether it has been paid.

Boat owners paying for a mooring or berth, caravan and motorhome owners paying for a storage compound, and anyone whose craft or van comes with a handful of annual and monthly fees from different providers.

What this helps you track

  • Each fee, who it is paid to and the period it covers
  • The date each one falls due and how many days are left
  • What has been paid and on which date
  • The amount still outstanding for the year
  • The year's fees as a monthly figure for budgeting

How to use it

  1. Write the craft or van, the year and the owner at the top.
  2. Give each recurring fee a line: what it is, the provider, the period it covers, the due date and the amount on the invoice or agreement.
  3. Tick paid and write the date when each one is settled.
  4. Check the days-to-due column in the browser or workbook, or count the days on paper, and sort by it when planning the next few months.
  5. Use the summary for the year's total, what is still owing and the monthly equivalent to put aside.

Formats

  • Printable PDF (A4 and US Letter)
  • Fillable PDF with form fields
  • Fill in online, saved in your browser
  • Excel / Google Sheets workbook

The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The workbook uses plain formulas only — SUM, IF, COUNTIF and the like — so it opens in Excel, LibreOffice and Google Sheets without anything breaking, and every calculated cell is grey so you can see which figures it worked out.

How to print

Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.

Questions

What does days to due show once a fee is paid?

It shows zero, so the paid lines drop out of the way and the lines still to pay are the ones with a count. A minus figure means an unpaid fee has passed its due date.

How is the monthly equivalent worked out?

The year's total of every fee on the sheet divided by twelve. It is a planning figure for setting money aside, not a statement of what any provider charges monthly.

Should fees paid monthly have one line or twelve?

Either. One line per payment keeps the paid ticks accurate; one line for the year with the annual amount keeps the sheet short. Choose one approach and keep to it.

Where do I record visits to the storage site?

This sheet is for the money. The caravan storage visit log records each visit and what you checked while you were there.
