Home Maintenance Schedule Generator

Answer a dozen questions about your house and get a personalised year of maintenance, month by month.

Everything happens in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, there is no account, and the PDF is built on your own device. We count how often this tool is opened and used — a number, with nothing attached to it. What that means.

How it works

  1. Tell it what kind of property you have and what it contains.
  2. It works out which jobs apply to you and puts them in the month they are easiest to do.
  3. Read it on screen, then print it or download the PDF for the binder.

Why use this rather than the printable?

A generic maintenance checklist gives you fifty jobs, thirty of which are for a house you do not own. This one only lists jobs for the things you actually have, so what is left is a list you might genuinely work through.

Both exist on purpose. If you would rather not type anything, the blank printable versions below are free, need no browser and never change. The tool is for when the personalised version is worth three minutes.

Questions

Does it tell me how often to service my boiler?

No, and neither does anything else on this site. Service intervals come from your manufacturer, your installer and any warranty condition attached to the appliance. The schedule puts the job in a sensible month and leaves the interval to the people who set it.

Is my information sent anywhere?

No. The whole thing runs in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, there is no account, and the PDF is built on your own device.

Can I change the schedule afterwards?

Yes — every task line has a blank date box and a notes column, because no generated schedule survives contact with a real house unaltered.
